ABOUT

Currently based out of Ventura, CA, Madison graduated with her BFA in Photojournalism at George Washington University's Corcoran School of Arts and Design in Washington, D.C in May 2016. Since being the chief photographer of her high school's newspaper in California almost five years ago, she's always held an interest in photography, cinema, and specifically storytelling and documentary. Throughout university she worked as a lab tech to both the digital and darkroom labs, and also acted as a mentor in a teacher's assistant position for a multimedia/video course. The work she's created thus far has dealt with identity, healthcare, environmental issues, and an array of general event and documentary coverage. Experienced as both a gatherer and editor of digital media, she hopes to continue expanding her creative career through experience.
